Here's M in her comfy position in the glider. She loves to get her hands on the remotes...
M is able to drink out of a cup now. We got her a small plastic tumbler so she can practice some more. It's fine when she's sitting at the high chair, but she also likes to hold the cup after her meal and carry it around with her to other parts of the house. Unfortunately she hasn't figured out gravity and how liquids have a tendency to spill out when the cup is tilted. Thank goodness we have towels and stuff on the sofa. This was from the early days of spit ups & diaper blowouts. We just kept them there out of habit. The other day she was trying to hold her cup, which had a bit of water in it, while climbing onto the sofa. Needless to say the towel on the sofa got a few wet spots. We still have some spillage with her sippy cups despite the valve that is supposed to prevent that. When the sippy cup is turned downwards at just the right angle, liquids can trickle out. This happens when she leaves the cup upside-down, sometimes in the house but usually in her car seat.
It's a good thing we cover the sofa & glider. We sometimes find crayon/ink on them. :-/ I think we just need to cover everything in plastic, LOL.
There's lots of good stuff in her car seat ... usually cereal, goldfish, rice cake crumbs! Thank goodness for the Dust Buster!!! :-)

M is still a big fan of The Wiggles. We've recorded some episodes onto Tivo for her to watch. She also has the Live Hot Potatoes DVD, which we haven't yet made it completely through. She used to be fine with the concert version of "Where's Jeff", but something changed one day. Now she will always cry when that one starts, and we have to fast forward through that song. Perhaps it has something to do with the big Jeff balloon that gets deflated at the end of the song.
We've watched a few DVDs that were checked out from the library. She loved Toot Toot. We currently have Top of the Tots, which she seems to like just as much; we have to return that one to the library soon. We had checked out Wiggle Bay a long while back and she seemed to be ok with that, but I think she likes Toot Toot and Top of the Tots more.
There's only one Wiggles DVD we checked out that was a complete flop, The Wiggles Magical Adventure. It didn't work out for her because it is like a movie and she wasn't old enough to follow the story. There wasn't enough singing. She was bored...
